What is Meditation?

Before we discuss, what is meditation, let's talk about what meditation is not.

Meditation is not something difficult to follow activity meant for specific age group and it is certainly not limited to any caste, creed, race or religion.
Now let's discuss what meditation actually is all about.

If you think that meditation means sitting in cross leg posture, closing your eyes and reaching to semi-sleep condition then you are wrong. 
Contrary to that, meditation is actually reaching to a state of awareness. It is a state of being aware of yourself and your inner world.
It leads you to discover your hidden powers within you. 
In ancient times, wise people knew about the power of meditation and that's why they made it a part of their daily routine. In fact, students were taught techniques of meditation as their school syllabubs.

But unfortunately, techniques of proper meditation were secured in handful of mighty people who didn't let this knowledge to descend among common, ordinary people or people from every strata of the society. 

This led to meditation being obsolete over the years and gradually masses remained unaware of their individual powers for generations to come.

In today's modern age, hardly anyone has the complete knowledge of meditation.

If you ask any random person from the crowd about what is meditation, you will get variety of confused, contradictory answers. May be 100 people will give you 100 different answers, but no one will be able to define meditation correctly.

So what meditation actually is?

Meditation is a science as well as an art. It is related to your body, your mind and your soul.
On physical level it is a key to your good health, on mental plane, it is a key to your peace of mind and on spiritual level it is a doorway to your freedom.
Meditation is a path towards your inner world where miracles happen.
Regular practice of proper meditation helps you to reach to your goals no matter what they are. You can achieve everything you want once you understand the science behind meditation and of course once you master the art of proper meditation.

Your physical reality is the exact result of whatever is programmed within your inner self.
So when you learn to decode that hidden script of your life all by yourself, you actually re-write what your physical reality should be.

You can call it Magic or Miracle, but the truth is that it is nothing but your own wish and full faith in yourself that brings desired experiences in your life.

Meditation is that key to understand the blueprint of your own life. The more you practice the more you will find answers to Why, When, What and HOW.
